The Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF, yesterday morning conducted a cleaning campaign and repair work at the Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryah in Kuala Belait. The community service programme is part of the activities organised in conjunction with the 57th RBAF Anniversary.
During the event, Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Commander of RBAF planted a commemorative tree and presented a plaque to signify the completion of the programme. Also in attendance were Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Abdul Hamid bin Haji Mumin, Member of the Legislative Council, Dato Paduka Hajii Muhammad Alimin bin Haji Abdul Wahab, Senior Trustee of Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajah Maryam and Awang Ridzuan Haji Ahmad, Acting Belait District Officer. The programme is aligned with the role of RBAF in fostering and strengthening its rapport with the community.
