The Tadarus Ceremony for the Prime Minister's Office and the departments under it in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan ended yesterday afternoon with Khatam Al-Quran. Organised by International Division in collaboration with the Economic and Finance Division of the Prime Minister's Office, Audit Department and State Mufti Department, the ceremony was held at the Ash-Shaliheen Mosque.
In attendance was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohammad Daud, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office. The ceremony began with the reading of Surah Al-Fatihah and followed by a mass reading of Quranic verses, and reading of takhtim and Doa Khatam Al-Quran. Before this, the delegation from the Prime Minister's Office and departments under it held bertadarus ceremony at the four mosques. The religious ceremonies in the month of Ramadan is one of the annual activities of the department to foster relations among officers and staff as well as mosque's congregants and the villagers. Also present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar, Chief Syarie Judge.
