The study of Al-Quran offered by Nadi Quranic Learning Centre aims to further improve Al-Quran syllabus taught at religious schools in the country in the aspect of mastering the reading and sounds of Hijaiyah letters. The programme which is conducted at the centre has received encouraging response from the public although it has only been implemented for 3 years. The matter was shared by the Minister of Religious Affairs during the Convocation Ceremony of Nadi Quranic Learning Centre yesterday morning. Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman explained a good development in the learning of Al-Quran effort is the emergence of bodies or youth groups of Religious Higher Education Institutes graduates offering teaching service in Al-Quran knowledge.
Yang Berhormat Pehin added, through the bodies or youth groups, the graduates of Religious Higher Education Institutes offer to teach Al-Quran and religious knowledge.
158 students received certificates, including 20 who completed the Tamhid Neuro Nadi Programme; 31 who completed the Tajwid Neuro Nadi Programme; 79 from the Talaqqi Al-Quran Programme and 28 who completed the Hafazan Neuro Nadi Programme. The vision of Nadi Quranic Learning Centre is to encourage Al-Quran literacy and respond to the cal of His Majsety the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam for the country to be a Zikir Nation. The ceremony coincided with Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
The centre currently has 10 branches in the country with 70 qualified teachers and almost 2 thousand students. Its programmes include Tahmid Neuro Nadi, Tajwid Neuro Nadi and Talaqqi Al-Quran. Also present were , Awang Muhammad Akmal bin Haji Marsidi, First Managing Director of Nadi Quranic ZLearning Centre and Dayang Sukmawati Dewi binti Masduki, Second Managing Director of the centre.
