FC Phosphors, Setia Perdana and DPMM FC each took three full points in the Under 16 Football League campaign organised by the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam, NFABD yesterday morning.
At the Mukim Kilanas Community Hall football field in Kampung Bengkurong, Indera SC went up against FC Phosphors. Phosphors in black led as early as the 2nd minute through Bahyuddin Bahri Awang Abu Bakar. 22 minutes later, Bahyuddin Bahri scored for Phosphors to double the score. In the final minutes of the match, Indera narrowed the score gap through Mohd Izzad Wafiuddin Abd Jusri making the final score, FC Phosphors 2, Indera SC 1.
Meanwhile, Berakas Sports Complex, saw the match between Setia Perdana and PMS Junior. In tjhe first half, Setia Perdana, in yellow jerseys led the match three-nil with two of the goals made through Mohd Hazwan and one through Mohd Wafi Shahrizan. In the second half, Setia Perdana continued to strengthen their position with its fourth goal through Mohd Nurshah Hafiz. Meanwhile, PMS Junior sole goal was made by Syamim Fahmi.
At the track and field area of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas, DPMM FC won three-nil against Kota Ranger FC with the three goals scored by Fynn Benjamin Pahl. DPMM FC in black netted its first goal in the first half. Fynn Benjamin's other two goals were netted 8 minutes after the start of the second half to complete his hatrick.
