13 officers from the Brunei Darussalam Administration and Medical Haj Pilgrim Management Office are now in the holy city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah to ensure preparations for and the needs of the country's haj pilgrims are managed properly and orderly. These include accommodation, transportation, Haj and medical services in the holy city.
The advance party from the Brunei Darussalam Administration and Medical Haj Management Office comprising 5 Haj Administrative and 8 Medical officers led by Awang Haji Abdullah bin Haji Muhammad, Head of Brunei Darussalam Haj Pilgrims Management Office arrived in Makkah a few days ago. They will hold consultations and discussions with related agencies in Saudi Arabia to ensure the preparations and other needs are in place before the arrival of the intending haj pilgrims. The top priorities are accommodation, transportation, Haj services in the Holy Land, Customs and Immigration and other matters. This year, 4 flights are flying the Haj pilgrims to the Holy Land and the first flight is scheduled to leave on the 18th of the month.
