Several associations in the country held the flag hoisting ceremony. The Youth Love the Nation Programme from the four district also held a similar ceremony. In Brunei Muara District, the ceremony was held at Youth Centre in the capital.
Present was Pengiran Haji Azlan bin Pengiran Haji Tengah Omar, Acting Deputy Director of Youth and Sports. The ceremony ran concurrently with the distribution of flags to 16 selected heads of fire victim families at Kampung Pengiran Bendahara Lama.
In the Belait District, the ceremony was held at Youth Centre in Kuala Belait. Present was Mohd Shah Johan bin Haji Shari, Head of Belait District's Youth and Sports Department.
Meanwhile the Ceremony at the Tutong District took place at Tutong Youth Centre. The national flag to the participants was presented by Awang Kamil bin Awang Lamat, Head of Tutong District's Youth and Sports Department in his capacity as the Chairman of Tutong District's Youth Love the Nation Programme.
A similar ceremony was held at Temburong District's Youth Centre. Present was Dayang Hajah Jamilah binti Awang Haji Jamahat, Senior Staff of Youth and Sports as Head of Temburong District's Youth and Sports Department.
The Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association also organised the Flag Hoisting Ceremony at the headquarters in Beribi. The ceremony proceeded with the presentation of national flag from Pengiran Abdul Wahab bin Pengiran Hassan, Vice-President of the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association to Haji Paisal bin Piluk, Brunei Muara District Scouts Commissioner.
