In the question and answer session, several questions were raised. Among them was the current hospital capacity in accommodating COVID-19 patients. The Minister of Health explained currently 107 patients are undergoing treatment with remaining 30 vacant beds.
Yang Berhormat added, as anticipated by the Ministry of Health, the number of positive cases are likely to increase as more Brunei citizens are returning from abroad. The ministry has its own current plan if the place is full. Meanwhile the long term planning are still ongoing between the Ministry of Health with several ministries such as Ministry of Finance and Economy and Ministry of Development.
