Low-lying areas and the country's interior are still inundated with flood waters specifically several areas in the Tutong District. The coordination of aid as well as monitoring of the flood situation in the affected areas continue to be implemented by security agencies in the country for the well-being of the people affected.
To ease the transport of residents to and from villages affected by the flood, the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF, has provided transportation assistance using Lorries at two aid posts which are at the junction of Jalan Sulap Samat until the bridge near Benutan Primary School. The transportation which operates from 7.30 in the morning until 4.30 in the afternoon is to assist the transportation of the village residents specifically those living in the Kampung Benutan area and its surroundings.
Monitoring of the water level is carried out continuously to ensure that the flood water levels is under control. Areas still affected are along Jalan Benutan, Jalan Keranching and Jalan Bangkuru. At this time, these roads are not safe to be used. Meanwhile, Jalan Kuala Ungar is also not safe for use by saloon cars. Drivers of saloon cars are advised to be cautious when going through Jalan Rambai.
Apart from that, warning signs are also set up along the inundated roads. Village residents who park their vehicles on the roadsides are advised to ensure the safety of their vehicles.
