​Foreign Direct Investments can continue to play their roles in growing Brunei Darussalam's economy as well as in the development of priority industries, namely, Downstream Oil and Gas, Food, Infocommunications Technology, Tourism and Services. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Minister of Finance and Economy stated the matter at the Annual Economic Forum entitled 'Mutual Support and Overcoming Challenges Together'. Yang Berhormat also thanked members of the Chinese Enterprises Association, for providing business opportunities to the local micro, small and medium enterprises and job opportunities to the local Bruneians including the provision of specific trainings to ensure Brunei Darussalam's workforce is job ready and well equipped with industry skills. Her Excellency Madam Yu Hong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam urged Chinese Enterprises Association members to continue to explore further business opportunities in Brunei Darussalam.
