The Liqa' Da'ie Programme was organised as a platform for the da'ie to enhance and strengthen their knowledge for the growth of the mind especially on the current development of talks. Through the programme, the da'ie will also further solidify their credibility in delivering talks at various levels, whether through radio and television as well as at mosques in conjunction with Major Islamic Events and others. This was voiced by Awang Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh, Director of the Islamic Da'wah Centre during the Liqa' Da'ie Programme yesterday morning.
Awang Haji Abdul Rajid said that the da'ie participating in the programme, are those selected to share information, constructive ideas to determine the type of da'wah service in the future as well as identifying the public's expectation towards the da'ie or speakers.
The programme organised by the Islamic Da'wah Centre through the Da'wah Dissemination Section focuses on empowering the da'ies with methods in facing society at all levels. It is one of the support activities to achieve the strategic objectives under the Strategic Plan of the Islamic Da'wah Centre to achieve Wawasan Brunei 2035. In accordance with one of the religious strategic objectives, which is da'wah and Islamic syiar disseminated widely to increase the number of certified da'ie. The participants comprise officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and selected members of the mosque takmir.
