Over 150 people took part in the Cycle 4 Health recreation held in conjunction with World Health Day. This morning's cycling activity took a distance of more than 100 kilometres from the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien in the capital and back.

The 104 kilometre event took 5 hours. Cycling is an ideal form of exercise for all ages and background. Cycling regularly can help avoid ailments such as cancer, diabetes, obesity as well as depression. Cycling can also increase one's fitness level and is good for the heart. Among the aims of the Cycling Recreation for Health is to encourage the practice of a healthy lifestyle among the public in line with the Ministry of Health's vision and aspiration of "Together towards a Healthy Nation,” apart from together upholding the objectives of Wawasan Negara 2035, towards life of high quality for the people in Brunei Darussalam.
