His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday morning graced the 'Kayuhan Semangat Hari Kebangsaan' cycling event organised in conjunction with the 33rd National Day.

After taking part in the cycling activity, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam took a closer look at the Mini Exhibition set up by several government agencies, youth associations and the private sector.

His majesty's presence at the Kayuhan Semangat Hari Kebangsaan was a motivation that encouraged the healthy lifestyle through sporting and recreational activities. Hence, each citizen and resident should give priority to the healthy lifestyle.

Meanwhile, several tourists in the country were really impressed by His Majesty's presence at the Kayuhan Semangat Hari Kebangsaan cycling activity. According to them, His Majesty's participation provided the best example on leading a healthy lifestyle and shows how Brunei Darussalam prioritises the aspect of health.

The "Masjidku Makmur, Negara Berkat" programme organised by Omar 'Ali Saifuddien continued yesterday with a tazkirah or talk on Accomplishing the National Vision. Delivering the talk, Awang Mohd Khairul Nazif bin Haji Awang Damit shared views on the benefits of reciting Asmaul Husna or the beautiful Names of Allah. This is because the Asmaul Husna contains the various names of Allah the Almighty.

A Khatam Al-Quran ceremony for 19 members of the Female New Converts Guidance Class of Kampong Batang Mitus and Kampong Kebia was held yesterday afternoon. The ceremony was held in celebration of the country's 33rd National Day. Present was Dayang Hajah Siti Rahmah Binti Haji Julaihi, Head of the New Converts Development Division of the Islamic Dakwah Centre, who also led the reading of Surah Al-Fatihah.
