Visit by Ministry of Religious Affairs Delegation in conjunction with 1st School Term Session of 2026An excellent generation, balanced with worldly progress and safety in the hereafter, is produced from the planning and implementation of a strong religious education. Hence, the Ministry of Religious Affairs will strive to make the implementation, planning and education policies in the country a success so that the practice of religious life remains inline with the Malay Islamic Monarch philosophy. The Minister of Religious Affairs stated the matter during a working visit by the Ministry of Religious Affairs delegation to religious schools in conjunction with the first school term session of 2026. Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman also highlighted that the importance of the ministry's role in fulfilling the hopes of parents, and ensuring the success of their children especially in formal religious education are implemented in a quality and effective manner.

Implementation of SIUK ProgrammeThe Islamic Studies Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs, remains committed to ensuring formal religious education in the country is delivered in a quality and effective manner to produce a knowledgeable, pious, and morally upright generation. Over five thousand new students began their Primary Four school session for religious schools nationwide. To welcome the new students, schools are implementing the 'Sekolahku, Ilmuku, Ugamaku, Keberkatanku' or SIUK Programme.
