Special Forum in conjunction with National DayThe country needs to continue to strengthen and transform the oil and gas sector to remain relevant and resilient. It was held at Dar-Al Intisar Hall, Jerudong Sports Complex. 3,061 orphans registered under JAPEM received donations.

'Skim Tabungan Anak Damit'Skim Tabungan Anak Damit, which will come into effect on 1st of March 2026, is a financial grant for newborn baby. The initiative to establish the scheme is following the discussions and cooperation between the Ministry of Finance and Economy, Ministry of Health; the Department of Immigration and National Registration and Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei, TAIB. Under the scheme, a total of Two Hundred and Forty Brunei Dollars will be given once through the opening of the Akaun Si Manja Khas at Perbadanan TAIB. However, it is subject to the criteria set. This was highlighted during an interview on the Rampai Pagi programme with the Head of the Policy and Strategic Unit, Treasury Department, Ministry of Finance and Economy, 25th February morning.
