Reading of Surah Yasin, Sunat Hajat Prayer and Special DoaTo pray to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala to grant His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam a speedy recovery, perfect and long-lasting health and well-being, the Ministry of Religious Affairs held the reading of Surah Yasin, Sunat Hajat Prayer and Special Doa before the Friday Prayer, followed by a Special Sermon. It was held at all mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide with a focus at Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kampung Kiarong. The ceremony was to jointly recite Surah Yasin, perform the Sunat Hajat Prayer and Special Doa and to pray for His Majesty's speedy recovery, perfect and long-lasting health and well-being.

The sermon also outlined that, as citizens, we are urged to always supplicate for the well-being of our beloved King. This is because praying for goodness of the monarch will yield great benefits and welfare to the entire people and the nation.
